Levente Soós graduated from the « Gheorghe Dima » Music Academy of Cluj, Romania, in 1986.
He studied with Prof. Marc Aurel.
In 1987, he was appointed first oboe of the Constanta Symphony Orchestra. He became first oboe of the Filarmonica de Stat Targu Mures in 1990, then first oboe of the Hungarian Symphony Orchestra Miskolc in 2000.
Since 2009, he has been first oboe of the Hungarian Radio Orchestra.
He performed solo concerts in Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Ireland with concertos from R. Strauss, Haydn, Dittersdorf, J.S.Bach, Vivaldi, Bellini and Marcello.
He very often performs chamber music concerts with different formations.
