Feb. 5, 2017: Lorée Oboe Day at the Cincinnati College – Conservatory of Music (OH, U.S.A.)

A « Lorée Oboe Day » will be held by Dwight Parry and Mark Ostoich on February 5 at CCM, during which participants will be able to attend masterclasses, lectures, a faculty recital, while Carlos Coelho will exhibit Lorée instruments for attendants to try. Alain de Gourdon will be there all day and give a lecture at 12:00.

9:15        Registration/exhibits – Breakfast in the Baur Room
10:00     Masterclass – “The Fundamentals of the Audition” with Dr. Mark Ostoich
11:30      Lecture Demonstration – Oboe maintenance and repair with Carlos Coehlo
12:00     Lecture and Q&A – “The Loreé Oboe” with Alain de Gourdon
12:30     Lunch break – try oboes, explore the vendor area, and stop by the “Reed Corner”
2:00       Masterclass – “The Solo Oboist” with Dwight Parry
3:45        Oboe Band – chamber music reading session
4:30        Snack break – last chance to visit the exhibit area and try oboes
5:00       CCM Faculty Recital – Dr. Mark Ostoich and Dwight Parry
