Natalia Silipo

Oboe Soloist at the Philharmonic Orchestra of Buenos Aires.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she started her musical studies at the National Conservatory of Music and continued with professors Pedro Pablo Cocchiararo and Rubén Albornoz.

In 1993 she traveled to London to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she obtained a degree in music.

She was the Winner of the “Presencia de la Música” competition, organized by Antorchas Foundation, and obtained the First Mention at the Argentinian Musical Competition organized by Banco Mayo.

She performed as first oboe at the Youth Orchestra of Radio Nacional. In 1999 she won the audition for first oboe at the Teatro Argentino de La Plata Orchestra, and since 2007 she is the associate principal oboe at the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra.

As a member of the Buenos Aires Classic Ensemble, she has performed in several venues across the country.

She has offered concerts as oboe soloist with the Camara Mayo Orchestra, the Teatro Argentino de La Plata Orchestra, and the La Plata Chamber Orchestra. She performed with many orchestras and ensembles from Argentina, including among others the Camara Mayo Orchestra, Sinfonieta Omega, the Teatro Colón Orchestra, Camerata Bariloche, and the La Plata Chamber Orchestra.
